Marc applied for a job as park ranger (maybe just because of the V8 truck??)
Due to the economic situation he has to come back in a few months to try again.
Marc's new boss!

We stopped for gas just before the Blue Ridge Parkway. There was a big "convenience" store, where they make ribs on the BBQ.
So we were ready to continue the BRP. The way to the mountains was good in the beginning, but the higher we came , the more cold and fog appeared.
At the entrance of BRP we had 100' visibility and a temp of 32º F. That was not so funny.
We went off BRP and got into the valley. Temperature was rising, fog was gone.
So we were changing the plans. I called Chrisz , the owner of Flash2pass and Bob, the former owner of the blue ST. We were eating a sub in Subway (they have some here Simone...) in Christiansburg.
It started to rain again so went went the fastest way to Waynesboro.
We had a meeting with Chrisz regarding his great products and at 6 Bob picked us up for diner. We all enjoyed his company and his special sense of humour.
Fortunately he lived in Texas for several yeas when he was a dentist, so he could easily understand our East-Texan accent.
After the diner he dropped us at Wal Mart Supercenter, a complete unbelievable experience for Marc and Egbert.

They do?!?! That's a surprise! If I were in a Subway, I wouldn't care about the rain! :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I'm not (or should I say: not yet :D), and it's raining in Tilburg as well! Guess you didn't see that coming ;)
